  • This is an antique Creedmoor mechanical bank, attributed to J. E. Stevens, circa 1877. The bank features a detailed cast iron figure of a marksman aiming at a tree stump. Known for its intricate design and mechanical action, this piece is a fine example of late 19th-century American craftsmanship. The bank operates by placing a coin in the marksman's rifle, which then shoots the coin into the tree stump when activated.
